Embedding YouTube Video in Flat Content Section

Hi there,

I am trying to embedd a youtube video in the flat content section. I therefore insert the embedding code into the text editor and if I switch to visual editor, I can see the vvideo. However, if I save the page and refresh it, no video embedded, and the code is deleted from the test editor.

Any ways to smoothly embedd a youtube video intothe flat content section?

Hi There,

If you want to use custom content with sections then follow the steps below.

1. Select the Front Page from Page Attributes > Template http://prntscr.com/eozptx
2. Check the Container check box from the Page Layout
http://prntscr.com/ehcuwa

If you want to use custom content without sections then follow the steps below.

1. Select the Default Template from Page Attributes > Template http://prntscr.com/eozqh3
2. You don’t need to check any check box from the Page Layout

Thanks for your reply.

THe option “custum Page” template is not available whne I try to select it.

What I am trying to do is to use the “flat content section” which you have added in version 1.2 of this word press theme, and to embedd a youtube video into this section using the visual/text editor field provided for the “flat content section”.

Don#t understand what I am doing wrong…
