Blog posts older than five years won’t appear on front page blog section?

Hello — Per my subject line, not able to troubleshoot what appears to be a time limit on what posts will be displayed under the blog section generator of the front page. The date cutoff appears to be five years to the day. Posts older than five years will not be displayed there although they appear elsewhere, for example, on the blog page.

I’ve looked through plugins, themes, folders, redux. Can you direct me?

Thanks for the reply. I figured out the problem — increase “Front Posts Per Page.” That was needed to fully populate the category sections when they are selected.
