If we do not wish to use the Google API to check deliverability by the address, and only use the ZIP, during the testing on the current plugin functionally came up a couple of questions:

    – Is the Google API used anywhere else when only using the ZIP option?

    – How the field distance restrict in KM work when only using the zips without the Google API?
Because the field is visible when only using the ZIP I’m thinking if it’s interacting somehow with the fields.

    – After inserting a couple of ZIPs to test the delivery location, the edit option is missing, where is the location to edit the zip’s already saved?

    – If we plan to insert various zips for verification, let’s say 10 or 20, it’s possible to change it to select with a combobox?

    Thanks.

Regarding the Google API, after running a couple of tests with the API Credentials in place, setting the Shop location address, and testing the location checker by inserting the delivery address to validate by distance, I’m getting on the location checker always no availability, even inserting a big number on the KM range, or inserting the same address as the shop location, the result is always the same, no delivery available in your area.

Any thoughts on this unexpected behavior?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You need all of these permissions https://themelooks.net/documentation/plugin/foodbook/how-to-create-google-api-key/ to get everything working.

    – Is the Google API used anywhere else when only using the ZIP option?
Ans.: Yes, it’s used on the delivery boy dashboard to locate the customer’s location.

    – How the field distance restrict in KM work when only using the zips without the Google API?
Because the field is visible when only using the ZIP I’m thinking if it’s interacting somehow with the fields.
Ans.: There is no distance restrict option for zips because you can add as many zips as you want.

    – After inserting a couple of ZIPs to test the delivery location, the edit option is missing, where is the location to edit the zip’s already saved?
Ans.: You can edit or remove those where from you add the zips.

    – If we plan to insert various zips for verification, let’s say 10 or 20, it’s possible to change it to select with a combobox?
Ans.: We are sorry to say that there are no pre-built options to do that.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback.

Regarding the issues on removing the zip codes, I believe you didn’t notice the issue, after clicking the saving settings button, it’s not possible to remove or edit the zip inserted. We have various items in there and if you visit the backend there is no option to remove or edit them.

    Thanks.
