    Hi

Given, the new feature – I typed “3” in the “Set Delivery Fee” option. But it doesn’t show/add up in the Checkout page.

    Please advise.

    Hi,

I have reviewed your website and we found you didn’t check this option https://prnt.sc/vhqjhv to show the Delivery fee.

Please configure the settings properly to get everything working like our demo.

    Thanks for the reply.

I did check that option. But it still seems like this might not work the right way. The “Delivery” option is selected by default. However, even if the customer selects “Pick up at store” under the subtotal, he’s still being charged with the delivery fee. And that shouldn’t happen. Please take a look at the screenshot and you should understand what I mean. Any suggestions?

    Hi,

Based on your screenshot, the option called Shipping, it’s coming from the WooCommerce Shipping system and the delivery charge comes from FoodBook. In this case, either you need to control everything from the WooCommerce Shipping system or you need to use the FoodBook delivery system. You can’t combine both systems.

I’d like to use Foodbook settings completely.

The problem is, we deliver food orders only within the town. Woocommerce gives the option to add zip codes where we want to deliver. Thats where shipping comes into picture. If I don’t do that anyone across the globe can place orders. And it’ll be a chaos. So, you must somehow find a solution to this.

    Thanks

    Hi,

We are sorry to say that FoodBook does not have a feature like that at the moment. However, we have a plan to implement a location-based delivery system in FoodBook and it will take time.

For now, you could use WooCommerce flat-rate-shipping by follow their documentation https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/flat-rate-shipping/ and for your shipping-zones https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/
