I installed the CoSolu theme but when I try to import the demo data using the plugin, I get a 404 error. I reinstalled WordPress and tried to use the WordPress importer but got the same error. I got it to work prior to the 2.4 update so I know that it works. Please advise on how I can import the demo data. Thanks!

    P.S. I love the theme!

I renewed my support as suggested. I did activate the theme prior to importing the data. What information can I provide to better assist you?

    I uninstalled WordPress and reinstalled.
I followed the instructions in this post and in the documentation.
I am running WordPress 5.4.2 and PHP 7.2
I also tried using the WordPress importer and go the same 404 error.

Here is the log file from the one-setp importer:

Do you know which server requirement needs to be added/changed? can you give them to me so that I can make the changes?

If I give you access, will you be able to provide me with the changes that you make, so that I can correct this if I need to reinstall?

    Hi Robert,

It’s Memory Limit and Maximum Upload File Size issue. Please check this article to update those to fix the issue https://themelooks.org/documentation/karton/system-status/

    Hi Robert,

We got your cPanel access but we didn’t find the PHP ini option to increase the Memory Limit and Maximum Upload File Size.

In this issue, please contact your service provider to fix the issue.

When I made the change and the problem still existed, I removed the changes to the PHP ini file because I thought that maybe I did it wrong. Can you add the changes correctly and then test the import function?

    Thanks!
    Rob

    Hi Rob,

The cPanel should have this option https://prnt.sc/t8v2i3 that we didn’t find in your cPanel.

Please contact your hosting server provider to get the option.

So is there anything that I can do other than changing hosting companies to get the demo data to import?

    #8222

We are sorry to say that there is no other way and you don’t need to change your hosting company. Just ask them to add the feature to your cPanel.

I changed hosting companies. The new company had the required feature on their Cpanel. I was able to successfully import the demo data.

Thank you for your assistance on this matter.
