    Hi !

I’m trying to install the script on my Plesk server.

The DB is created, access is only possible through localhost.

When I try to do the installation process, I enter all the DB information and I got an error message stating “Please check your network connection”

I tried with localhost and localhost:3306, same error message.

I’ve tried to log on the database in command line with mysql, to ensure credentials are working -> it is working

Wow, jeez, thanks a lot, so helpful.

    -> PHP version is 7.4.28
-> All PHP modules required are installed

Database is created, proper user assigned to it with all rights on the DB.

Now that this is settled, can I have a useful answer ?

If I enter the wrong credentials for the DB, I have the message : “Incorrect database information”
If I enter the good credentials for the DB, I have the message : “Please check your network connection”

Which makes no sense, as it’s able to detect when the credentials are not the proper ones.

    Dear,

It’s a hosting server permission issue. That’s why you are getting the network connection error.

Please check out the hosting server issues listed below and contact your hosting provider to fix the network connection issue.

Problem 01: proc_open is not available on php installation
    https://prnt.sc/10l750z

Problem 02: Cannot connect API using port 80
    https://prnt.sc/10l75bl

After then, please follow the installation steps from our provided documentation.

    Best Regards,

    Hi,

    proc_open is enabled

For the port 80, do you mean that it means to be available on the server itself ?
But it’s used by Apache already, I don’t get your point here.

I’m really not sure about your last answer.

    To summarize :
    – proc_open is working on the server. Simple example available here : https://myipinfo.app/test.php
I’m executing the command “w”, it returns a result.
    – If I need to reach ip-api.com on port 80, it works as well, test with https://myipinfo.app/test2.php
    Tried with fsockopen function

    Hello,

Could you please try to install it on a cPanel with mySQL server to check is it your server issue or something else? Because we are unable to understand why you are getting this issue?
