We are experienceing a problem with wpbakery visual composer plugin and the theme. Our website suddenly says under maintenance and we can’t access the admin section. Our hosting is godaddy, and we have contacted them already to fix the problem but all they can do is restore to a previous working version of the site.
They said that the issue is caused by the wpbakery plugin. So naturally, we contacted wpbakery, and they said that their plugin was modified by your author, and when the plugin was updated, the error occurs. They suggested to contact you guys and ask for help. Below is the reply that we got from them:
“The issue is because the older visual composer (now WPBakery Page Builder) is modified by the theme author by customizing the existing elements and adding the new one’s. Now when you update it, the customization made by the theme author was lost which causes the issue. You can check it with the theme author if there is any way to preserve the customization done by him with the latest version, so that such an issue can be avoided at your end.”

GoDaddy suggested to not use wpbakery, however, we already built our site using that plugin and we already wasted too much time working on the development of the website. We hope to hear from you soon.
