I posted on Codecanyon about the issues I’ve had with thermal printing with FoodBook and have since taken the advise and updated to the latest version but the problem continues.
Basically when an order is printed it is shaded, rastered, dithered… the end result of a thermal printer trying to print shades or colour rather than solid black.
I’m using a Star TSP100 Trueprint through USB. I’ve set the printer up correctly in Windows 10 to use the following:
Paper Size as 72mm x Receipt
Friction: 72 mm x Receipt
Paper Type: Receipt
Page Cut Type: Partial Cut
Document Cut Type: Partial Cut
Print set to black and white
Now if I use the printer on any other application or script other than FoodBook it prints solid black fonts and graphics, yet with FoodBook the same printer prints shades and the receipt cannot be read.
Here are some examples of the print from orders. The first two (normal1.jpg and normal2.jpg) are from my online ordering script using the same printer as FoodBook and the same printer driver. The next example (FoodBook) is a copy of the receipt print of an order through FoodBook using the same printer and same driver as before.

The above url/domain, is still in test so no live data is on the site hence why it is insecure (no https)
So you can see that the FoodBook print is very light and shaded. This makes it almost impossible to read the fonts.
Can you look in to this for me please.
