Several Questions

Hey there,

I have several questions regarding the foodbook customization:

1. I would like to customize the email notifications. I know I can change some text but what if I want to upload more content like buttons, photos and stuff?

2. I don’t need all the email notifications. Can I disable some of the individually? For example, I just want a confirmation to be sent when cooking is complete.

3. I would like customers to be able to order before opening hours.

4. Calender doesn’t open in checkout when selecting schedule delivery/pickup.Pre order days limit is set to 6.

5. I can’t find the branch and kitchen manager. I only have one branch so far, but more to follow.

6. When I click branch manager, kitchen manager, or delivery site I always get redirected to my home site.

Im not using Foodbook Theme by the way.

— It happens when you use any “security” or “admin login redirection” or “hiding admin login” plugin. If you are using any relevant plugin, please reactive it to get rid of the issue.

3 and 4: I activated the pre order option. But if the customers can’t choose a date the pre order doesn’t make any sense. Especially when I can set pre order days limit to 6. Do you actually know what I mean when I say that I can’t select a date?

— You can set the pre-order days limit 10 or 20 based on your needs. If you set 10 then it will allow pre-orders from the present date to the next 10 days. Your customer will be able to choose a date between your set days. You can check out the FoodBook demo to check the feature live.

3 and 4: Allright now it works. Now I can select a date. The only problem is the date is in english although I translated everything to german in loco translate.

Please try to change your site language from the WordPress setting.

The branch manager, kitchen manager, and delivery boy should be login from here https://tapskitchen.com/admin/ then they will redirect to their dashboard based on their role.

Hello,

so first I had to create a user with the according role to be able to see the branch manager after login. Important information was missing there.

The site language is set to German.

Moreover, the date will work based on your WordPress language & date settings and you need to translate the day manually using any translate plugin like Loco Translate.
