I’m having some trouble with what seems to be tools and wordpress settings the theme is dependent on no longer being the same in the newest version of WordPress? WordPress 4.9.8
I’m referring to the tutorials that came with download, and youtube tutorials, and finding some things like “Select Section” and “Page Layout” not present/visible in page editor. Here’s the details of what I’m running into:
In Page editor
*no “Select Section”
*no “Page Layout” to select between Container or Full Width.
Home V1-V3 and other pre-designed pages, appear as content blank in gutenberg or classic editor, aside from the title, and there isn’t a way in either editor to make changes to the Sections that are there.
Using Gutenberg editor and shortcode to add Sections:
*Using shortcode to add sections: sections have trouble with width, extending beyond the page width and resulting in a horizontal scroll bar.
Reverting to classic editor results in the same width troubles. In classic editor, the Select Section tab doesn’t exist either. /
With Page Attributes:
Template set to Default Template:
*Will not show sliders (uses default header image set in Customize if you try to set a slider), but will show page body content added in gutenberg or classic editor.
Template set to Custom Page:
*Will show slider if you set one. But will not show page body content added in gutenberg or classic editor. Slider and page footer are touching with no content visible between.
Thank you for your help!
