upgrading child to v2.1

with the new release of v2.1 do we need to do anything to the child theme to apply the updates?

I have never fully understood how this part of it works when your running the child theme.

If i update the main ecohost theme to 2.1 does this in turn automatically update the child or do i have to apply further manual steps

Sorry for the inconvenience.

However, you don’t need to do anything with child theme. This is because, there has nothing updated in the child theme. In this issue, you just need to update the main ecohost theme and the child theme will automatically work with the update.
