    Hello,

The theme is very nice but I experience an issue, how to efficiently edit pages using WP Bakery? Pages that display in WP bakery look different than in regular site, how to edit them properly then? Example

    Regular: https://scr.hu/d1odAX
    WP Bakery: https://scr.hu/NoP280

    Hi David,

It’s the default behavior of WP Bakery Builder front-end editor. That’s why we recommend to use back-end editor.

Please watch the video tutorials https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbmIKrgYlRbrak6Ymxl2Qkp83gsNhGRYp to customize this theme in the proper way.

Thanks for reply. Pretty bad, I had a hope the WP Bakery will work similar way to Elementor, which allows real deeling of visual designing of pages. Elementor does not have such issues in front end editor.

    Hello,

I have speak to WP Bakery developer, as I also own direct license from him. He said that this is not typical WP Bakery behavior and there is something that blocks proper render of your theme in WP Bakery. I followed his suggestions to resolve possible issues but nothing helped.

I am not a front-end developer and main reason I purchased the VirtuSky theme was its compatibility with Visual Composer (as stated in the offer). Unfortunately, it is not fully compatible at the stage. The back-end editor is veeery unreadable and uncomfortable to work with, so it does not satisfy me.

Please work out a solution for the problem. Thank you.

    Hi David,

We have listed this in our theme update list.

However, could we ask the details what the WP Bakery developer said and provided suggestion when you have contact with them?

This is exactly what he said so far

    Hi,
It looks like a third party code is altering the editor at your end. Please try deactivating all the plugins except WPBakery Page Builder and especially switching onto a default theme like twenty fifteen to check the same. You can then activate them one by one to find out the exact one causing the issue. If the issue still persist, then do share your WordPress login details, so that we can check it further.

    Thank you,

I still await direct assistance from him, however, clean WordPress + VirtuSky + VirtuSky Plugin (the only plugin required to display site properly) and front end editor is still broken for many pages, e.g. contact form is dis-organized and miss many CSS, front page does not display many modules, e.g. pricing bars, and many many more.

I tried the WP bakery on different themes, default one and several free themes. I also tried it over some paid themes we use for our Customers, and it works well there.

When I could expect some solution for this matter?

P.S. What is the most funny, Elementor Pro can display the VirtuSky properly but cannot use it to edit the pages as it cannot understand WP Bakery tags […]. There is some real problem between VirtuSky and WP Bakery

Here I leave you another reply from the WP Bakery developer

    Hi,

It is not a default behaviour of frontend editor. If you create an online demo here: https://wpbakery.com/try/ you will find that there is no issue with frontend editor working.
We suspect that the theme might not be compatible with the frontend editor and hence the theme author is recommending the backend editor. As requested earlier, can you please confirm that you had checked the same by switching onto a default theme like twenty sixteen at your end?
If the issue still persist, then do share your WordPress login details and confirm whether the website is under development, so that we can carry out a few tests/fixes to check it further.

    Thank you,

    Hi David,

As we said we have listed this in our theme update list. If possible we will try to fix the issue in our future update of the theme.

We also tried some popular themes and we got the same issues in the front-end editor and it only happens in some specific section when the design is something unique/different from general design. That’s why we recommended using back-end editor.

I am afrait it may take undefined time and have unknown results, as you stated you will try to fix it. Any chance you can offer a service where you would remake the theme to work with Elementor Pro? If so, how much it would cost?
