    Hi there,

    I have been using your theme for a while now but have some questions and issues I would like to ask and make you aware of:

    http://prntscr.com/grj1qa (How can I center the nav bar text vertically here?)

    http://prntscr.com/grj2br (How can I move these so the images look like they are actually related to the text.) (Arrows show.)

    – I am looking to place a Trust Pilot Box towards the top of my homepage how can I do this? I know there are 2 bits of code to add, I have tried and have done the header but can’t find where the code for the body of the homepage is. Even then how can I manipulate the box to where I want it?

    http://prntscr.com/grj3gp (How can I choose which ones of these I want per user? I tried removing the links but it does nothing.)

    http://prntscr.com/grj40z (Finally on mobile devices, this appears to be a CSS issue.)

    Kind regards,

    Lewis.

    Hi,

    Can you please make me aware how I can update without losing any changes I may have made so far, I can also confirm all recommended plugins are installed and active.

    Kind regards,

    Lewis.

    Backup your theme/style folder and files before update the theme & plugins. Also, read the changelog.

    How do I update the theme from 1.6 to 1.8 then. I have got the above folder backed up, tried to upgrade and it did nothing. The docs say about installing, not upgrading. This is really urgent now.

    #2287

    First of all, backup your theme/style folder from the cPanle, if you have added/edited/customized any theme code or you have added any custom CSS. If you have not added/edited/customized any theme code or you have not added any custom CSS, then you don’t need to backup the theme/style.

    Please follow the steps below to update the theme.

    1. Go to Appearance -> Themes
    2. Active another theme & delete the hostwhmcs theme
    3. Click Add New -> Upload Theme
    4. Upload, install & activate the latest version of hostwhmcs theme

    By the way, please check out the list below of Updates & Changelog of v1.8

    [+] Added Services Included Section Column Change Option
    [+] Added Service Section Column Change Option
    [+] Added Pricing Table Column Change Option
    [+] Added Hosting Feature Section Column Change Option (Please Note: Previous hosting feature section data will be lost after the theme update. So, you need to set the data again.)
    [+] Added Footer Widget Column Change Option (Please Note: Previous widget data will be lost after the theme update. So, you need to set this again.)

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay I have just done this and it has ruined my Homepage layout as you can see here.

    http://prntscr.com/gu7j0j

    The label image should be roughly here: http://prntscr.com/gu7k0u
    (It was before.)

    All I have changed is updated the theme. Yes I have my files backed up but still.

    Also yes, all of the issues above are still apparent.

    #2307

    Your very first screenshot http://prntscr.com/grj1qa shows the label image as same as your last screenshot http://prntscr.com/gu7j0j Here is the proof http://prntscr.com/guavu3

    However, you told the label image should be roughly here: http://prntscr.com/gu7k0u
    (It was before.)

    Could you please explain us about this?

    I’m rather confused, all I can say is after the update from 1.6 to 1.8 that happened.

    Not sure what else I can say?

    #2311

    Just compare below screenshots that you have provided.

    1. – http://prntscr.com/grj1qa (How can I center the nav bar text vertically here?)
    ***you have provided this when you started this topic

    2. http://prntscr.com/gu7j0j
    ***you have provided this on your previous reply

    Both of your provided screenshots look like exact same, but you wrote “I have just done this and it has ruined my Homepage layout as you can see here. http://prntscr.com/gu7j0j The label image should be roughly here: http://prntscr.com/gu7k0u (It was before.)”

    Now could you please explain, why you wrote it has ruined your Homepage layout when you have updated the theme, whereas the layout was same before the update?

    Hi,

    The Label image is massive now and all I did was update the theme. It also broke some text and such which I have fixed so that’s fine. I tried the page on a different machine and the image is indeed huge.

    Please provide us your website URL and list of your specific issues with details with some screenshot. After then, we will able to provide you a solution of your issues.

    Jesus Christ, this is like pulling teeth.

    Website URL – https://blacklabelhost.com

    Issues:

    http://prntscr.com/grj1qa (How can I centre the nav bar text vertically here? In the white space?)

    http://prntscr.com/grj2br (How can I move these so the images look like they are actually related to the text.) (Arrows show what I mean.)

    – I am looking to place a Trust Pilot Box towards the top of my homepage how can I do this? I know there are 2 bits of code to add, I have tried and have done the header but can’t find where the code for the body of the homepage is. Even then how can I manipulate (move) the box to where I want it?

    http://prntscr.com/grj3gp (How can I choose which ones of these icons I want per user? I tried removing the links but it does nothing.)

    http://prntscr.com/grj40z (On mobile devices, this appears to be a CSS issue.)

    – Finally as clearly stated above, after updating from 1.6 to 1.8 yesterday the label image with “BLH50” written inside of it, appears massive on the screen as shown below, I haven’t changed anything only seems to be massive after the update it shouldn’t overlap any of the text or anything like that.

    http://prntscr.com/gueq5h

    Kind regards,

    Lewis.

    1. Please use the CSS below

    .navbar-nav {
        margin-top: 36px;
    }
    .header--login-btn {
        margin-top: 46px;
    }

    2. In this issue, you have to use image icon or FontAwesome icon, but you have used both. So, remove image icon FontAwesome icon to fix the issue. Please check out the screenshot as reference
    http://prntscr.com/gungbs

    3. In this issue, you need to hire someone else to customize the theme for you based on your needs. Please learn more our support policy (item support includes & not includes), here https://www.themelooks.com/support/support-policy/ before post a topic or ask a question.

    4. Please check out the screenshot as reference http://prntscr.com/gunhjh

    5. There is no CSS issue. You could check out our item’s live demo. The issue raised only for your big logo. We have tried many ways to fix the issue, but there has no solution for the issue.

    6. Please use the CSS below

    .banner--bg-animate {
        background-size: auto;
    }

    Hi there,

    Issues 1 & 2 have been resolved so thank you for that.

    The Social Links are still appearing when the links have been removed – http://prntscr.com/guusymhttp://prntscr.com/guut2e

    There must be an issue, this is the most urgent part – I have re-sized my image to half the size and have seen no difference. This was not an issue before updating from 1.6 to 1.8

    For now, I have had to remove the image from the homepage, but I assure you, nothing on my end has changed other than the updating of the theme.

    Kind regards,

    Lewis.
