First of all, backup your theme/style folder from the cPanle, if you have added/edited/customized any theme code or you have added any custom CSS. If you have not added/edited/customized any theme code or you have not added any custom CSS, then you don’t need to backup the theme/style.
Please follow the steps below to update the theme.
1. Go to Appearance -> Themes
2. Active another theme & delete the hostwhmcs
theme
3. Click Add New -> Upload Theme
4. Upload, install & activate the latest version of hostwhmcs
theme
