First of all, backup the theme files if you have changed/edited any code of the theme, also backup the database before update the theme.
After then, please follow the steps below.
1. Go to Appearance -> Themes
2. Active another theme & delete the CVIT theme
3. Upload, install & activate the latest version of CVIT theme

Moreover, you could follow the steps below.
1. Open all .html files in the editor (example “index.html”)
2. Find the comment Header Nav Links Start
